  1. What is your customer service number?

     2. Where can I buy Benjamin Moore paint?


Benjamin Moore's paintings and paint samples are available at our independently owned Miramar Paint Center and Spectrum Paint Center paint stores.


You can also buy gallons of Benjamin Moore paint online, you can pick them up from our stores. Color swatches, fan presentations, paint tools (brushes and rollers), and paint and stain swatches can be shipped directly to the continental United States and worldwide. Here are some guidelines:


* Gallons of Paint and Stain - Available for pickup only in our stores or shipped directly from our online store.
* Paint samples 16 oz. (1 pint) - You can pick it up at the store or have it shipped directly from our online store.
* Color swatches, fan presentations and painting tools (brushes and rollers) - you can pick it up in store or send it directly from our online store.


For products and colors not available on our site, please contact us.
Delivery Options: We are an independently owned authorized retailer selling Benjamin Moore paint, therefore, store delivery options apply only to our Miramar Paint Center & Spectrum Paint Center stores.

 

     3. Where can I buy a paint swatch or color swatch?


You can purchase a pint-size paint sample for brushing on at our Miramar Paint Center & Spectrum Paint Center stores. You can also request a brush painting sample from the Miramar Paint Center online store and have it delivered directly to your home.

You can order 4 "x 8" color swatches only at our Miramar Paint Center & Spectrum Paint Center physical stores. If you require that you send the color samples, please contact us.

 

     4. What is the difference between a paint swatch and a color swatch?


Benjamin Moore offers two types of color swatches:
Paint Samples (available in stores and online) - Paint samples are 16 oz. cans of paint in the color of your choice. They are only available with eggshell glitter and are formulated for indoor use only.


Paint swatches cover approximately two 4 'x 4' areas or eight 2 'x 2' areas with two coats of paint. You can brush a paint swatch directly onto the wall or onto white card stock. We recommend a large white card so you can move it around the room throughout the day to see how it looks in different lighting conditions.

This helps avoid "surprises" in your final color choice. If you choose to brush your paint swatch directly onto your wall, consider using a primer if necessary.
Color Swatches (Available in our Store Only) - These 4 ”x 8” swatches, with an eggshell finish, allow you to test a color without painting a wall. Color swatches are a good choice when it comes to deciding between multiple colors at once.

Simply tape them to the wall (note that color swatches do not "peel and stick"), view them in different lighting conditions, and compare colors with others.


Both paint and color samples are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. Paint swatches and color swatches are shipped from different locations, so they may arrive at different times. There is a maximum of 10 color swatches per customer.

 

  1. Do you sell samples of exterior stain?

Yes. You can purchase a 16 oz. (1 pint) sample of ARBORCOAT® Exterior Stain in a variety of opacities and colors from our online store.

 

  1. What is the Benjamin Moore Color PortfolioTMApp & ColorReader?

The Benjamin Moore Color Portfolio app, available FREE on Apple and Google stores for iOS and Android, includes virtual fan decks, a photo visualizer, and much more.

The portable ColorReader, brought to you by Datacolor–a leader in color technology, pairs with the Benjamin Moore Color Portfolio app via Bluetooth® to provide prevision color-matching for all Benjamin Moore's 3500+ colors as well as readings from other popular paint brands.

  1. How do I receive emails from Miramar Paint Center?

During registration, you may choose to opt-in for certain emails from us. If you already have an account and aren’t getting emails, visit your My Profile and update your opt-in status.

If you don’t want to register for an account, you can still receive Miramar Paint Center emails. Simply enter your information here.  

 

  1. What is Gennex® Color Technology?

Gennex® Color Technology is the reason that you cannot “match” Benjamin Moore® color in another paint brand. Why? Because the combination of Benjamin Moore’s proprietary Gennex® waterborne colorant with Benjamin Moore paint creates an end-result that simply cannot be replicated.

Most common paint colorants require the addition of certain chemicals so that they can easily mix into any number of paints—chemicals that ultimately weaken them. Proprietary Gennex Color Technology is engineered specifically by Benjamin Moore, for Benjamin Moore paints. The result is the premium paint that makes Benjamin Moore synonymous with quality.

Aura® Interior paint, Aura® Exterior paint, Natura® Interior paint, Regal® Select Interior paint, Regal® Select Exterior paint, ben® Interior paint, ben® Exterior paint and many others are engineered with the “science” behind Benjamin Moore quality.

 

  1. What is Color Lock®?

Benjamin Moore’s proprietary Color Lock® technology is exclusive to premium Aura® Interior paint and Aura® Exterior paint. Thanks to Color Lock®, color pigments are locked into the paint film, so color doesn’t fade, even after repeated washings. Benefits of Aura® with Color Lock® technology include:

  • Covers walls more completely so you can use less paint
  • Unprecedented durability and no color rub-off, even after repeated washings
  • Extreme hide to cover dark colors and imperfections
  • Uniquely smooth finish

  1. What is the Color Capture® app?

Available for iPhones and Android OS phones, the Color Capture® app lets you capture color with your phone's camera and instantly find its match from Benjamin Moore's 3500+ paint colors.

     12. I am new to Miramar Paint Center; how do I register for a Miramarpaintcenter.com account?


To get started, go to our Account Registration/Login page, which can also be accessed by clicking the person icon on the upper right hand corner of every Miramar Paint Center website page. If you are on a mobile device like a cell phone or tablet, go to the menu and look for Register or Sign In.


To sign up, go to the Need an Account box and click Get Started, which will take you to the Create an Account page. There, you’ll enter registration information, including whether you’d like to opt-in to receive Miramar Paint Center emails.


Click Create My Account, at the bottom of the page, to complete your registration. Then, look for an email verification in the inbox of the email with which you registered. Click on the Validate Email link, or use the email’s enclosed hyperlink to verify your email. If your registration is validated, you’ll see a Success message with a link to sign in.

 

  1. How do I explore paint colors on the website?

Go to Find Your Color for a suite of interactive, online color tools. You can search by Color Family, explore Benjamin Moore Color Palettes and use Color a Room to 'mask' dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, offices and more.

You'll also find the Personal Color Viewer located here, a tool that lets you upload your own images–or use ones we provide–to 'paint' up to five surfaces using any one of our 3,500+ colors. Please note that Personal Color Viewer is not optimized for mobile or tablet devices. 

Once you have selected your colors, return to our site to place your order with the name and color code.

 

  1. Colors on my computer screen do not appear the same when I print them. Why?

On-screen and printer color representations may vary from actual paint colors due to differences in monitor calibrations and printer variations.  

 

  1. Where can I find My Profile to update my information?

You must be logged in to access My Profile; it is located on the upper right corner on every page of the Miramar Paint Center website. If you are on our mobile site, it is accessible via the menu.  

 

  1. What if I forgot my password?

Go to Account Registration/Login page and select Forgot Password. You will be prompted to enter your email address or Username, and then press the Submit button. An email will be sent to you containing a link to reset your password.  

 

  1. How do I change my password?

Once logged in, go to Account Security located under My Profile to change your password.  

 

  1. I have recently changed my email address. Is there a way to update my information?

Please visit the Contact Us page and send us a note about this change. We’ll be in touch to update your profile information.  

 

Online Store | General Questions 

 

     19. Does Miramar Paint Center offer free shipping?


No, but we are happy to ship your order FREE when you spend $ 1,000 or more on eligible items. These items include paint color swatches, exterior stain swatches, sundries and fan covers, as well as any other product in our store. In case of applying free shipping, your purchase is exempt from any other promotion or discounts.

We provide shipping of all kinds for gallons of paint and stain and all of our products in the online store. You can choose to pick up your order at our Miramar Paint Center & Spectrum Paint Center stores in just three hours.

If your order is local, we offer free shipping for orders over $ 50 within 5 miles of our Miramar Paint Center & Spectrum Paint Center stores.

 

     20.  Can I pick up my order online at Miramar Paint Center or Spectrum Paint Center?


If you can Pick up your order in our stores, this option appears when you are processing the payment of your order, choose your Miramar Paint Center or Spectrum Paint Center pickup store.

 

     21. May I log in with my Miramarpaintcenter.com account to access the online store?

Yes. You can log in with an existing miramarpaintcenter.com account, or create an account. 

 

Online Store | Shipping and Tracking Questions

 

     22. How will I know when my order is ready to be picked up?


To coordinate your pickup, please contact us for specific order details and store hours. However when your order is ready you will receive a communication from us by email or text message.


The small print


Orders are usually ready in just three hours, although this time is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the selected store. Orders are completed in the order they are received, and the time period between placing and order fulfillment depends on many variables, including type of order, stock in our stores, etc.

 

     23. What do I need to bring to collect my purchase?


Be sure to check the hours before coming to our stores.


Bring the following when you visit your local store to pick it up:
• Order number: bring your phone to show order confirmation or bring a printed copy of the order.
• Credit card used for the purchase
• Valid photo ID


Send someone to pick up our order? If the person picking up the order is different than the person who placed it, please add that person's name in the Order Comments when placing your order and make sure they bring a photo ID, order number, or order confirmation.

 

     24. Where do they ship to?


Paint swatches, color swatches, fan displays and paint tools (brushes and rollers), and any of our other products, are available for purchase from our online store and can be shipped directly to the continental United States. If you live outside the continental US, we also have international shipping services through different carriers


To guarantee delivery, we must have complete addresses. Sorry, we are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. and F.P.O. addresses.

 

     25. Will UPS or USPS drop off the package if I'm not at home?


It is up to the UPS driver's sole discretion whether to leave a package at your door.


Be aware that extremely cold weather conditions can cause paint and stain samples to spoil. By making our paint eco-friendly, it is even more susceptible to freezing temperatures. We use special winter packaging to ensure your painting arrives unfrozen in excellent condition. However, if you anticipate that you will not be home within 8 hours of package delivery during the freezing months, we recommend that you ship your package to a business address to ensure delivery.

 

      26. How can I track orders being shipped directly to me?

If your order contains items for shipping, an email with a tracking number from UPS or USPS will be sent to you upon shipment.

 

Online Store | Refunds, Returns and Exchanges Questions 

 

      27. What is your return policy?


Interior and exterior paints, stains, paint color swatches, color swatches, and exterior stain swatches are not eligible for return or exchange.

     28. Can I return my purchase to a Miramar Paint Center?


As stated in our Return Policy, all custom stained paint orders are final and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for a new color.

     29. Can I cancel or change the orders I place online?


No. Once you place an order and have pressed "confirm", the sale is considered final and it is unlikely that the order can be modified or canceled. If you need to make a change, please contact Customer Service immediately by email at support@miramarpaintcenter.com or by calling 1 (754) 263-3390.
